On March 15, 2024, Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat exchanged vows in a very small wedding at the ITC Grand Bharat in Gurugram. Their marriage, is proof of their unwavering love, which grew over their time working together on the sets of “Pagalpanti” and “Veerey Ki Wedding” and “Taish.”
Wedding Festivities
Mehendi
The couple’s mehendi was a lively indoor affair. Dressed in a stunning champagne-hued off-shoulder lehenga from Ritu Kumar, Kriti Kharbanda made a beautiful bride-to-be. Her gorgeous jhumka with chain earrings from Shri Paramani Jewels added the perfect dash of charisma to her look. On the other hand, the dashing groom-to-be Pulkit rocked a sage green ensemble from the shelves of designer Faraz Manan. Moreover, he styled his look with some silver accessories like a handcuff, a couple of finger rings and an ear cuff that added an edgy finish to his look.
Sangeet
Surrounded by sequins and an array if glam elements, the duo’s sangeet had everyone shaking a leg. Kriti showed off a dazzling blue and silver lehenga from Kresha Bajaj Official, while Pulkit pulled off a black and silver Indo-western outfit from Rahul Mishra.
Haldi
Taking the unconventional route, the couple used ‘multani mitti’ with minimal haldi for this event. Hosted by the pool, it was designed with vivid blooms and old-school furnishings. Kriti donned her indo-western haldi look with a fiery orange Sharara pant with a trail and an organza pallu on both sides from Ridhi Mehra’s latest collection. She styled the outfit with tiny bunches of pearls on the hath phool, chandbalis and a small mang tikka for added glam. We couldn’t stop adoring her beautiful braid with pearl details. Pulkit was seen flaunting a yellow kurta until it was ripped apart during the haldi ceremony. He quickly changed into another designer yellow kurta with white pants. The couple was seen having so much fun as they smothered each other with fuller’s Earth and celebrated the beginning of their married life!
The Chooda Ceremony
The actress’ chooda ceremony reminded us of “something old, something blue, something borrowed.” We are crushing over her lime green saree by Ekaya, which she chose to style with heirloom jewellery! Her Instagram caption made us teary-eyed, “Naani ma ka haar aur ma ki shaadi ka dupatta! The two things I was sure I was going to adorn during my Chooda ceremony even before there was a boyfriend or a proposal ❤️ bachpan ka Sapna tha 🙂 It was a magical morning. Riding high on emotions and my heart pounding coz pulkit and I weren’t allowed to meet or see each other before the phera’s. While we did things our way, a few things were still old school. I wish he was a part of this moment too, but sigh, I loved the look on his face the first time he saw these pictures and was bowled over Laal chooda and traditional kaleera’s were a non negotiable too. The number of people who tried to convince me otherwise was insane. But I’m so glad I stuck to what I wanted to do and didn’t look back.”
The Big Day
Kriti and Pulkit exchanged vows in the calm setting of Gurugram, accompanied by close relatives and friends. Kriti looked gorgeous wearing an organza ruffled dupatta and an Anamika Khanna baby pink lehenga with beautiful floral embroidery. Her unadorned beauty was enhanced by polki jewelry, a nath, and a necklace made of rani haar. Pulkit complimented her look with a mint green sherwani by Anamika Khanna that had a pearl-emerald rani-haar, a pastel pink and mint green safa, and an embroidery of the holy Gayatri mantra. Their mogra jaimala brought in even more enchantment.
The ITC Grand Bharat was turned into a floral haven by The Design Atelier Weddings’ expertly created bridal décor. The venue’s lush vegetation and ornate architecture were perfectly complemented by the beautiful decor, which included an abundance of vibrant florals and vintage furnishings. Every event space was decorated with a mix of modern and traditional elements, from the cheerful mehendi setup to the tranquil haldi beside the pool, creating an appealing environment. The events’ romantic and intimate atmosphere was further enhanced by the gentle, ambient lighting that filled the ballroom and several lawns.
Reception
Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat made sure that they ended the celebrations of their forever with a bang! Kriti chose to wear a Gauri and Nainika gown that was designed as a mermaid silhouette. The printed satin gown was the perfect choice for their fun reception, which was full of LED lights, fun slides and a happening dance floor. The couple chose to go for a laid-back reception and kept their dress code minimal but no doubt, the duo looked absolutely gorgeous! Pulkit wore a three-piece velvet suit with silver embellishments that made him look no less charming. They captioned their reception post, saying,. ‘Right here, right now’s all we got! #Mr & Mrs.’ All-in-all, we approve of the mix of laid-back, traditional and fun-filled wedding celebrations hosted by Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat.
Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat’s exquisite wedding was characterized by the couple’s contagious delight, classic elegance, and thoughtful details. As they begin their new adventure together, their wedding ceremony raises the bar for modern nuptials.
