From a vibrant Mehendi and a foot-tapping cocktail to a fun-filled Haldi and a gorgeous destination wedding in Goa, Niki Mehra Madan and Sid Madan’s wedding was nothing short of spectacular.
Bridal Shower
Niki’s bridal shower was a close-knit gathering between her sisters, mother and friends. For the bridal shower, Niki Mehra wore a customised baby pink dress with a sweetheart neckline and a high-low hem. During the party, Niki and her bridesmaids played a few fun and interactive games, including guessing naughty bedroom items and a musical bouquet catch! To top it off, Niki proved to be the best bride ever by gifting all her girlies with a Dyson Airwrap and an evening full of pampering at Geetanjali Salon, Khan Market!
Sagan Day
For the Sagan day, the couple and their families got together for a sunny affair. Niki was dressed in a stunning orange peplum kurta with a lehenga skirt with golden detailing by a Pakistani designer Mohsin Naveed Ranjha. On the other hand, Sid chose a blue floral bandhgala in contrast with Niki’s outfit. Not only was the Sagan day a festive event, but the highlight of it was the Bollywood style welcome of the Groom’s side with showering flower petals and a rad song playing in the background.
Dhol Night
As part of their final pre-wedding function, the groom’s family held a dhol party. From endless dancing to overjoyous wedding brigades on both ends. Paying tribute to her Amritsari roots and customs, Niki donned a stunning purple suit with a red pant and yellow dupatta with zari work and paired the look with a gorgeous loose fishtail braid and glowy makeup.
Welcome Beach Sundowner
Niki and Sid welcomed their guests with a beach sundowner drenched in white hues. The aim of the party was to not only welcome their guests but also help them settle in and relax before the Indian festivities began. The assumed quiet evening soon turned into a major rager, with everyone vibing to crazy energy!
Tropical Mehendi
Kickstarting the wedding festivities was the mehendi function. For this bright, tropical-themed affair, Niki dressed in a stunning neon pink, floral lehenga by Sabyasachi while Sid matched his bride in a floral peach Sabya ensemble as well. Talking about the mehendi, Niki described it as living her ultimate Sabya bridal dream. Pairing her gorgeous lehenga with OTT jewels, Niki also mentioned that she always knew that she was going to be wearing a Sabyasachi lehenga for her Mehendi. Niki and her tribe also surprised the groom brigade with a fab flashmob which was a whole experience thanks to the ladkiwala’s thumkas and the colour bombs.
Bollywood Inspired Sangeet
Inspired by the gold shimmer of the OG desi girl Priyanka Chopra, Niki styled herself in a stunning gold lehenga by Dabiri Couture with sleek diamond jewellery. Sid, on the other hand, wore a dapper black embroidered ensemble by Gaurav Gupta. Talking about her sangeet look, Niki talked about how it was inspired by JLO. With bronzed cheeks and voluminous curls, the bold look truly took our breaths away. During the night, not only did Niki and Sid serve some awesome solo performances, but the two took to the stage and showcased a beautiful couple’s performance as well.
Candid, Fun-Filled Haldi
While it was just a 2-hour haldi ceremony, it was nothing short of an exciting fiesta. From flower showers, chilled beer to haldi holis, everything was the sight of perfection. For the haldi, both Niki and Sid wowed us in Rishi & Vibhuti ensembles.
Gorgeous Wedding
For the destination wedding in Goa, Niki chose a Rimple & Harpreet lehenga in pastel pink. She paired that with a custom made veil by the House of Kotwara and traditional jewels by Raniwala 1881. Another element that added stars to her look was the sea-shell kaleeras by Ra’Abta by Rahul that Niki wore. Sid, consequently, matched his bride in a beautiful embroidered pink sherwani.
