Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani: Keep it Private until you know it’s Permanent

On February 7, 2023, the much awaited wedding of Bollywood celebrities Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani finally made their debut on social media. The couple broke the record for celebrity weddings when they got married at Jaisalmer, Rajasthan’s stunning Suryagarh Palace. This magnificent couple further added occasion, characterized by grace and charisma, has enthralled people and celebs everywhere. And Bridal Episode today brings you all the details of it!

The Venue: Suryagarh Palace, Jaisalmer

Nestled in the middle of the Thar Desert, Suryagarh Palace made the ideal setting for this dream wedding. With more than 80 rooms, including suites with private pools, the castle is renowned for its regal atmosphere and opulent amenities. The location, which combines contemporary amenities with ancient Rajasthani architecture, made sure that the couple and their guests would have an unforgettable time.

The Wedding Festivities

Two days of festivities preceded the wedding, starting with a welcome meal in the courtyard. A vibrant sangeet on the patio and a private haldi ceremony between the havelis came next. The Celebration Lawns, Bawdi hosted the wedding reception the next day, following the opulent ceremony. In order to preserve the event’s exclusivity, attendees were requested to leave their phones in their rooms or with security, guaranteeing a seamless and engaging experience.

Mehendi

For the mehndi, Kiara chose to don a white lehenga with intricate threadwork while Sidharth donned a yellow kurta which he paired with a festive shawl. Hosted outdoors under the sunny sky, the couple had a fun time shaking a leg with their loved ones.

Haldi

Kiara was seen wearing an orange kurta with golden embroidery on the neck. The bride looked stunning in her fresh floral jewellery designed by Floral Art by Srishti. Sidharth was wearing a yellow-orange kurta with bright pink neckline. Both of them were looking at each other with love while sitting on a red sofa, surrounded by yellow flowers.

Sangeet

Glamour meets glory – that’s how Kiara Advani was seen imperializing her extravagant look for the Sangeet night. Kiara stunned in a golden-base-enhancing ombre lehenga. The highlight was the meticulous handwork of placing the embellishments and accompanying threadwork which took more than 4000 hours. The ombre palette transcends from golden to silver. The studded pieces comprise 98,000 Swarovski crystals. Rounding off her look with utmost panache was the stole with its haute couture touch, the marabou feather detailing on it was the cherry on top. Her jewellery pieces had their moment in the sun as always, her sangeet pick was probably the most loved. The striking blood-red ruby pendant was in stark contrast to the captivating golden lehenga. Coupling it with a streak of natural diamonds was a master stroke and classy at its best.

Sidharth looked majestic in a black velvet sherwani with detailed golden embroidery work across its bodice. The asymmetrical silhouette of the kurta gave off a very Indo-western vibe while the encrusted Swarovski crystals alternated with the threadwork were an ace. Letting the cutting-edge aesthetics rule, Sidharth looked as handsome as ever.

Wedding Ceremony

The wedding ceremony was a picture perfect wedding, with white flowers as the background. Everybody in attendance was enthralled with Kiara’s bridal entry, which was set to the song “Ranjha” from their movie “Shershaah”. Sidharth’s emotional and sincere response upon seeing his bride demonstrated their strong relationship. The event was made even more memorable by the couple’s embrace and the exchange of garlands, which represented their love and dedication.

Kiara Advani accepted the part of a contemporary bride who also adhered to tradition. She donned a Manish Malhotra lehenga in an antique rose color. Intricate Roman architecture-inspired embroidery on the lehenga was a reference to the couple’s mutual love of the city of domes. The lehenga shimmered with each step because to its genuine Swarovski crystal embellishment. Kiara’s pastel color scheme was enhanced by Sidharth Malhotra’s custom gold sherwani, which was made by Manish Malhotra. The sherwani has gold zardozi, badla work, and ivory threadwork, giving it an antique charm. Kiara’s royal costume was flawlessly complemented with Polki jewelry from “Raniwala 1881,” which was adorned with exquisite uncut diamonds, to complete his look.

A mix of intimate friends, relatives, and a few Bollywood celebs were on the guest list. Notable guests included Kiara’s childhood friend Isha Ambani, Juhi Chawla, Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput, and Karan Johar. The festivities were intended to be both private and spectacular, with every last detail carefully coordinated.

The Grand Reception in Mumbai

Over 300 people attended the star-studded couple’s reception in Mumbai, which included Bollywood A-listers like Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Kriti Sanon. Sidharth looked handsome in a glittery blazer with a black turtleneck, while Kiara shined in a monochromatic gown accessorized with a stunning emerald necklace. The Astor Ballroom at The St. Regis Mumbai served as the venue for the reception, which was styled with white flowers and the couple’s monogram to create a chic and refined atmosphere.
